Job Requirements

  • short order and or pizza experience required
  • ability to work full time Wednesday through Sunday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturday through Tuesday 7 am to 6 pm
  • must be able to comply with company safety and cleanliness standards
  • ability to safely handle kitchen equipment as instructed
  • willingness to adhere to HACCP guidelines and company policies
  • physical capacity for kitchen workloads
  • availability for flexible scheduling
  • willingness to maintain good working relationships with team members
  • ability to perform tasks safely and efficiently

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in short order cooking or pizza preparation
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control guidelines
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • willingness to attend safety and in-service meetings
  • physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
  • familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat ensuring food and supplies storage standards
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance needs or faulty equipment immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • performs job safely maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • commits personally to safety of self and others
  • abides by company policies on safety including use of gloves, mitts, slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
  • performs other duties as assigned
