Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary, cooking, or food prep experience required
  • ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • commitment to following federal, state and corporate food safety standards
  • ability to use kitchen equipment safely
  • ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • willingness to wear protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • ability to handle physical demands of the job
  • authorization to work legally in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary, cooking, or food prep experience
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and food safety regulations
  • knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • strong attention to detail and hygiene standards

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, ensuring food is at correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
  • cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
  • keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring proper food and supply storage
  • operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies
  • reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment or accidents immediately
  • attends in-service and safety meetings
  • maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers
  • performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • performs other duties as assigned
  • ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures while following HACCP standards
  • maintains personal commitment to safety and abides by all company policies and procedures including use of protective gear
