  • Food handlers license required
  • Knowledge of patient diets and safe food handling requirements
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to maintain infection control standards

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide healthy food for patients, employees, and visitors
  • Prepare food ensuring strict safety standards are followed
  • Create menus and order supplies for the hospital kitchen and cafeteria
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
  • Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
  • Work closely and professionally with other staff
  • Maintain proper levels of confidentiality
