Job Requirements

  • Short order and/or pizza cook experience required
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends
  • Must be able to follow food safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks in a kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness
  • Must comply with all company safety policies
  • Must have reliable transportation to work location

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Short order cook experience required
  • Pizza cook experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares food for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at the correct temperature and attractive
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures and maintains records during service periods
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring food and supply items are stored properly
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents promptly
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures following HACCP standards
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to safety of self and others
  • Abides by company policies and procedures including the use of protective gloves, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
  • Performs other duties as assigned
