Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passion for cooking and providing excellent service to residents
Job Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking areas
- Assist in menu planning and food presentation
- Follow all health and safety regulations in food preparation and storage
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
