Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary or back-of-house experience required
  • Ability to work full time on a Friday through Monday schedule from 12:00 am to 8:30 am
  • Must be able to follow federal, state and corporate food safety regulations
  • Must maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
  • Ability to use kitchen equipment and adhere to safety procedures including use of gloves and slip-resistant shoes
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to personal and workplace safety
  • Must comply with company policies and procedures including handling of knives and hot equipment
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with coworkers and supervisors

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary experience or back-of-house experience

  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and safe food handling procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, ensuring food is at correct temperature and is attractive and tasty
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
  • Assists in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents to supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation, portion control and serving temperature following HACCP standards
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to safety and adheres to company policies and procedures regarding food safety and equipment use
  • Performs other duties as assigned
