Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of relevant culinary experience
- knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- ability to work flexible hours, including days and varying shifts
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and multitask
- customer service oriented
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience working in the senior living industry preferred but not required
- at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen, a restaurant, or a similar operation
- knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
- ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other team members
- self-motivated, organized, and professional
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- Prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply management
- secure items in time for food preparation
- ensure leftovers are stored correctly
- maintain accurate inventories
- communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team members
- handle multiple tasks independently
