Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in high-volume cooking environment required
- availability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- capability to operate kitchen equipment
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in kitchen
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- physical ability to perform job tasks safely

Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
- serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning, maintaining outlined standards and ensuring food is at proper temperature and appearance
- uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked
- cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, stores or discards excess food per safe food-handling procedures
- maintains cleanliness and organization of refrigerators and storerooms, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies
- operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting
- aids in ordering and receiving food and supplies as required
- reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents to supervisor immediately
- attends in-service and safety meetings
- maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- follows proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperature standards in compliance with HACCP
- commits personally to safety for self and others
- abides by company policies regarding use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques
- performs other duties as assigned
