Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience working in the senior living industry preferred but not required
  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen restaurant or a similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
  • self-motivated organized and professional
  • ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage food and supply management
  • secure items in time for food preparation
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain inventories
  • communicate clearly and work cohesively with restaurant team members
  • follow sanitation and safe food handling standards
