Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work weekend shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform manual kitchen tasks
  • Compliance with food handling and safety regulations
  • Willingness to adhere to company safety policies and procedures
  • Must be able to pass any required background checks or drug screenings

Job Qualifications

  • Three years of prior cooking experience
  • Ability to prepare food according to standardized recipes
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safe work environment
  • Willingness to learn and be trained for specific tasks

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensures food is at correct temperature and attractive
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Stores or discards excess food safely and ensures food and supply items are stored properly
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering and receiving of food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment or accidents immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings and maintains good working relationships with all staff
  • Performs job safely and ensures compliance with company policies and HACCP standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned
