Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least two years of professional kitchen experience
- knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
- excellent communication skills
- ability to multitask and work independently
- strong customer service orientation
- availability to work full-time including every other weekend
Job Qualifications
- at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen restaurant or similar operation
- knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
- ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
- self-motivated organized and professional
- strong customer service skills
Job Duties
- prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
- work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management including securing items in time for food prep
- ensure leftovers are stored correctly
- maintain inventories
- communicate and coordinate effectively with other restaurant team members
- adhere to sanitation and food safety standards
