Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least two years of professional kitchen experience
  • knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work independently
  • strong customer service orientation
  • availability to work full-time including every other weekend

Job Qualifications

  • at least two years of experience working in all stations of a hotel kitchen restaurant or similar operation
  • knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling standards
  • ability to communicate clearly and work cohesively with other restaurant team members
  • self-motivated organized and professional
  • strong customer service skills

Job Duties

  • prepare high-quality food following standard recipes and special diet orders
  • work with the Director of Food & Beverage and Sous Chef to manage all aspects of food and supply management including securing items in time for food prep
  • ensure leftovers are stored correctly
  • maintain inventories
  • communicate and coordinate effectively with other restaurant team members
  • adhere to sanitation and food safety standards
