Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:15 pm
  • Ability to follow food safety standards and regulations
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Commitment to workplace safety and company policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous line cooking experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Experience with kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Basic math and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday through Friday

Job Duties

  • Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery using correct portioning and ensuring proper temperature
  • Uses established ticket collection procedures during service
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high cleanliness standards
  • Stores or discards excess food according to safe food-handling procedures
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving food and supplies
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately
  • Attends in-service and safety meetings
  • Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers
  • Performs job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment
  • Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperature
  • Follows HACCP standards and abides by company policies and procedures
