Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2-3 years previous cook experience or 3 years of prep cook experience
- solid understanding of professional cooking and knife skills
- understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures
- ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions
- ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- strong communication skills
- self-motivated and organized

Job Duties
- Perform all aspects of meal preparation, cooking and presentation
- keep cooking stations stocked using batch cooking method with documented time and temperature logs
- follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications set by the executive chef
- restock items as needed throughout the shift and complete order sheets to maintain appropriate level of supplies and inventory
- assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, coolers, freezers and storage areas
- assist with washing pots and pans and other kitchen projects
- participate in daily lineup meetings and work calmly and effectively under pressure
