Job Duties

  • Prepare hot and cold food items according to established recipes and menus
  • Measure and mix food ingredients accurately
  • Use grills, kitchen utensils, and equipment to cook food
  • Test food to determine if it is done
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain patient and workplace safety
  • Work effectively as part of the food services team under time constraints
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
