Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- minimum six months of applicable experience preferred
- ability to read, write, and follow directions
- ability to perform basic math
- willingness to complete on-the-job training
- Serv Safe certification may be required within a designated timeframe
- Basic Life Support certification may be required depending on location
- valid driver’s license may be required depending on location
- ability to work rotating holidays and weekends
- ability to work night shift from 11:30 am to 8:00 pm
- ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- prepare, assemble, and cook baked goods and other food items for patients, residents, staff, and visitors
- adhere to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation
- perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas
- maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines to prepare, store, and use food safely
- operate kitchen equipment including mixers, slicers, kettles, ovens, grills, fryers, dishwashers, and refrigerators
- communicate effectively with internal customers and work collaboratively within a team
