Job Requirements

  • No degree or other education required
  • minimum of one year food service experience or culinary training
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • physical ability to perform duties including bending, stooping, lifting up to 75 pounds, standing and walking extensively
  • knowledge of HACCP guidelines
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • availability for day shifts

Job Qualifications

  • One year of food service experience or culinary training
  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work with minimal supervision
  • critical thinking and decisive judgment skills
  • ability to work in a stressful environment
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepares food according to standardized recipes ensuring food production schedules are met
  • uses all necessary food service equipment safely and properly
  • adheres to HACCP guidelines regarding requisition, storage, handling, and preparation of food
  • ensures food is prepared and documented according to quality, quantity, nutritional, temperature, and safety standards
  • follows menus provided and communicates any concerns to departmental leadership
