Job Requirements
- No degree or other education required
- minimum of one year food service experience or culinary training
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- physical ability to perform duties including bending, stooping, lifting up to 75 pounds, standing and walking extensively
- knowledge of HACCP guidelines
- adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
- ability to communicate effectively
- availability for day shifts
Job Qualifications
- One year of food service experience or culinary training
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work with minimal supervision
- critical thinking and decisive judgment skills
- ability to work in a stressful environment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Job Duties
- Prepares food according to standardized recipes ensuring food production schedules are met
- uses all necessary food service equipment safely and properly
- adheres to HACCP guidelines regarding requisition, storage, handling, and preparation of food
- ensures food is prepared and documented according to quality, quantity, nutritional, temperature, and safety standards
- follows menus provided and communicates any concerns to departmental leadership
