Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred
  • ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions
  • ability to perform basic math
  • willingness to work rotating holidays and weekends
  • ability to stand for long periods and walk far distances
  • depending on location, Serv Safe certification may be required to obtain within a designated time frame
  • basic life support (BLS) certification may be required depending on location
  • may be required to drive with a valid driver’s license depending on location

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and assemble baked goods
  • cook, season and portion food according to menu and dietary requirements
  • adhere to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature and sanitation
  • perform washing and cleaning duties to maintain sanitation in cooking and serving areas
  • maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment and machinery
  • follow standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines for food preparation and safety
  • operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, slicers, ovens, grills and fryers
