Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience preferred
- ServSafe certification is a plus
- Knowledge of health, food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Job Duties
- Consistently monitors the temperatures of hot and cold foods according to food safety standards and documents results
- Completes appropriate forms such as food temperature logs, sanitizer concentration logs and food waste logs
- Prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner daily in accordance with menu, recipes, allergies and dietary restrictions of individuals
- Cleans storage, food preparation and serving areas to maintain sanitary conditions
- Wash and dry dishes, take out trashes and broken-down boxes, clean dining area and stock items in serving areas as needed
- Performs routine deep clean of kitchen area including sweeping/mopping kitchen floor, cleaning inside and out of reach-ins, cleaning steam table, fryolator, etc
- Assists in guaranteeing a high level of health and safety, cleanliness and food preparation that ensures safe working practices are followed
- Maintains professional boundaries with clients and interacts with them in an appropriate manner
- Any other related tasks that are assigned
