Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or minimum of two years of cooking experience in an institutional setting
- food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) required within 30 days of start date
- ability to work full time 40 hours per week
- availability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties
- compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Prepare specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, and catered services
- adhere to sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
- ensure food quality and presentation meets hospital standards
- assist with inventory management and food storage
- collaborate with dietary and clinical staff to accommodate special dietary needs
- maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
- comply with health and safety regulations
