Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two years cooking experience in an institutional setting
- Food Handler Training Certificate Program (ANSI Accredited) required within 30 days of start date
- Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week
- Availability for rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to perform cooking duties and manage kitchen tasks
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, and catered services
- Ensure adherence to sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
- Follow established cooking and food preparation standards
- Rotate shifts including weekends and holidays
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cooking work areas
- Collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to meet patient and cafeteria needs
- Comply with hospital food safety regulations
