Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- minimum of two years training in food quantity preparation sanitation and hygiene
- minimum of three years institutional or Medical Center cooking experience
- ability to read write and follow oral and written instructions
- ability to do arithmetic calculations and computations

Job Duties
- Prepare meats and main dishes to department standards
- ensure all food is cooked according to strict quality and safety guidelines
- operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly
- prepare breads, rolls, biscuits, cakes, cookies, pies, and other bakery products
- make puddings, custards, and gelatin products
- follow recipes and production standards for quantity cooking
- maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
