Job Requirements
- Must pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- comfortable standing during shifts
- physically able to perform kitchen duties
- reliable and team-oriented
- availability to work mornings from 8 AM to 1 PM
- willingness to follow all center policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Experience with cooking or food preparation preferred
- knowledge of Food Program (CACFP) is a bonus
- willingness to learn and complete training
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- friendly and positive attitude toward children and coworkers
Job Duties
- Prepare simple, kid-friendly meals
- maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen and handle dishes
- keep track of grocery shopping, inventory, and weekly supply lists
- follow Food Program (CACFP) and center procedures
- participate in training as required
- collaborate with team members to support kitchen operations
- ensure food safety and compliance
