Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED or minimum two years cooking experience in institutional setting
  • food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) within 30 days
  • ability to work Monday-Friday, rotating weekends and holidays
  • capability to perform physical tasks required in kitchen environment
  • adherence to safety and sanitation protocols
  • effective communication skills
  • flexibility for shift schedules

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED

  • knowledge of sanitation and food safety guidelines
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • strong attention to detail

Job Duties

  • prepare specified menu items for patients, cafeteria, and catered services
  • adhere to sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • collaborate with food service team to ensure timely meal delivery
  • monitor food quality and portion sizes
  • assist with inventory management and food storage
  • comply with hospital and regulatory food safety standards
