Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum two years cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • completion of food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) within 30 days
  • able to work Monday to Friday 12-8 30 pm with rotating weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow sanitation and safety protocols
  • capable of handling kitchen duties

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • minimum of two years cooking experience in an institutional setting
  • food handler training certificate program (ANSI accredited) within 30 days of start
  • knowledge of food safety standards
  • ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
  • strong teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare specified menu items for patients
  • prepare food for cafeteria service
  • provide catering support
  • ensure adherence to sanitation standards
  • follow safety and food handling procedures
  • maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • collaborate with team members to meet service needs
