Job Requirements

  • food handler permit or servsafe certification by first day
  • minimum one year cooking experience preferred
  • ability to read and communicate in English
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • knowledge of safe food handling practices
  • ability to understand workflow and prioritize tasks
  • customer service skills preferred
  • capability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • tolerance to temperature extremes and cleaning chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • food handler permit or servsafe certification required by first day
  • one or more years of cook or line cook experience preferred
  • ability to read and communicate effectively in English
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • knowledge of safe food handling techniques
  • understands workflow, prioritization, and deadlines
  • ability to provide exceptional customer service preferred
  • familiarity with modified diet food preparation preferred
  • experience using commercial cooking equipment preferred

  • prepares and cooks food

  • prepares bulk food items and specialty meals
  • maintains organized and sanitary work environment
  • manages proper product rotation and quantity

  • performs cashier duties
