Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in cooking or food preparation
- Understanding of dietary needs and restrictions
- Ability to work flexible hours including day and night shifts
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations

- Prior cooking experience in a healthcare or assisted living setting preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook meals for residents, keeping in mind dietary needs and special diets
- Strong working knowledge on proper food storage and preparation
- Knowledge of state dietary regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen area
- Use cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware safely and effectively
- Monitor food quality and freshness
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
