Job Requirements

  • Basic food preparation skills
  • knowledge of HACCP standards
  • 0 to 1 years related experience
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
  • ability to converse comfortably with customers
  • ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions
  • frequently works with sharp knives, utensils, and hot plates
  • frequently works in hot environment
  • frequently immersed hands in water and chemical solutions

Job Qualifications

  • Basic food preparation skills
  • knowledge of HACCP standards

  • experience in high volume or fast casual dining preferred
  • ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents

Job Duties

  • Grilling food and performing all station functions including Fry, Flat Top Griddle, Pantry, and cooking eggs
  • communicating ticket times and potential problems to the manager on duty and servers
  • following recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items
  • tasting products, following menus, estimating food requirements, checking production and keeping records
  • cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment
  • practicing excellent food safety and sanitation practices compliant with HACCP standards
  • operating kitchen equipment, measuring and mixing ingredients, washing, peeling, cutting and shredding fruits and vegetables
  • stocking, dating, rotating and checking temperature of product
