Job Requirements

- Able to handle exposure to wet, humid, cold, hot, and outdoor weather conditions
- Must be able to safely handle kitchen equipment such as knives, ovens, and hot oil
- Must maintain manager-level food handling certification

Job Duties
- Keep the kitchen in pristine order during shifts
- Organize stations and ensure items have designated places
- Maintain freshness and proper usage of kitchen items
- Complete all required station projects before service
- Set and prepare the line by 5:30 pm and participate in dish tastings at 5:00 pm
- Maintain professional conduct and cleanliness during service
- Communicate effectively with team and expeditor
- Call back requests to expediter to confirm completion
- Learn to run and describe each menu dish after training
- Fill out daily temperature logs and monitor refrigerator temperatures
- Maintain proper sanitation and personal hygiene
- Complete daily cleaning checklists and undergo Sous Chef checks
- Perform three daily kitchen breakdowns and deep clean after service
- Store or discard mise en place appropriately
- Hand wash specified tools
- Maintain manager-level food handling certification
