Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a cook in fast-paced or upscale kitchens
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong knife skills and kitchen equipment proficiency
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to maintain composure and leadership during high-pressure situations

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced or upscale kitchen
  • knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures
  • ability to follow standardized recipes while maintaining speed and accuracy
  • strong knife skills
  • confidence using both small and large kitchen equipment

  • leadership abilities and reliability under pressure

Job Duties

  • Preparing breakfast, lunch, or dinner items with precision and consistency
  • executing dishes across various cooking techniques: roasting, broiling, baking, frying, steaming, and more
  • following recipes and portion standards with a meticulous eye for quality
  • maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • operating kitchen equipment with care and adhering to all safety protocols
  • ensuring proper storage, rotation, temperature control, and sanitation
  • supporting the culinary team by supervising prep staff and promoting a culture of excellence
  • identifying hazards and communicating proactively with leadership
  • taking initiative in daily operations and staying agile during high-volume service periods
