Job Requirements
- Previous culinary experience on the line and in banquet production required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
- Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- Must maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform
- Safety training and certification prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, such as General Educational Development (GED)
- At least one year of related work experience preferred
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality
- Previous culinary experience considered a great advantage
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes or menu
- Cook foods and prepare superior quality menu items in a timely manner
- Taste foods to ensure preparation and temperature accuracy
- Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
