Job Requirements

  • Previous culinary experience on the line and in banquet production required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including day and evening shifts, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to move and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must be able to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • Must maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform
  • Safety training and certification prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, such as General Educational Development (GED)
  • At least one year of related work experience preferred
  • Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Positive attitude and outgoing personality
  • Previous culinary experience considered a great advantage

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes or menu
  • Cook foods and prepare superior quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Taste foods to ensure preparation and temperature accuracy
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
