Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in a culinary or food service role preferred
  • ability to follow instructions accurately
  • knowledge of food safety practices
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • able to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs
  • commitment to adhering to COVID-19 safety and sanitation guidelines
  • reliable and punctual
  • willingness to work full-time Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous cooking experience preferred
  • ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • strong organizational skills
  • good communication and customer service skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and serve foods as determined by the supervisor
  • produce, prepare and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items determined by the Chef Manager
  • station set-up prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • provide customer service in a courteous manner consistently
  • follow all outlined health and safety regulations regarding equipment use and personal hygiene
  • move objects approximately 35 lbs to waist height
  • adhere to client and company COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation protocols
  • perform other jobs as determined by the supervisor
  • stand for extended periods of time
