Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during day schedule
- Willingness to comply with health and safety standards
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Adherence to COVID-19 workplace safety protocols
- Ability to work independently
- Must be punctual and reliable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a food preparation or cooking role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds
- Willingness to adhere to workplace health and safety policies including COVID-19 protocols
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by supervisor
- Follow all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
- Set up work stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date mark, rotate and store deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
- Move objects weighing up to approximately 35 pounds to waist height
- Adhere to client and company protocols regarding COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation
- Work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
- Perform other jobs as determined by supervisor
- Stand for extended periods of time
