Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday during day schedule
  • Willingness to comply with health and safety standards
  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 35 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Adherence to COVID-19 workplace safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be punctual and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a food preparation or cooking role preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds
  • Willingness to adhere to workplace health and safety policies including COVID-19 protocols

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by supervisor
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
  • Set up work stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date mark, rotate and store deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Move objects weighing up to approximately 35 pounds to waist height
  • Adhere to client and company protocols regarding COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation
  • Work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Perform other jobs as determined by supervisor
  • Stand for extended periods of time
