Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day schedule
- Must be physically capable of standing for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects up to 35 lbs to waist height
- Must adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to follow company and client protocols
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food service preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Baking experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, cook and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by supervisor
- Observe, comprehend and follow all instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
- Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food as determined by supervisor
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong communication
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
