Job Requirements

  • be at least eighteen years of age
  • possess a current Food Handlers Card
  • have demonstrated skills in leadership, training, and supervision
  • have proficient communication skills
  • be physically able to perform duties that involve standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day
  • be able to frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds
  • be comfortable working near extreme temperatures
  • be available to work indoors and outdoors
  • have a clean criminal background

Job Qualifications

  • possess a current Food Handlers Card
  • possess skills, knowledge and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
  • have proficient written and oral communication skills
  • be able to read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • be physically able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the shift

Job Duties

  • prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
  • ensure health protocols including proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and proper food temperatures
  • familiarize yourself with residents and their preferences and needs
  • participate in resident orientations
  • maintain clean and organized work areas
  • assist with inventory and kitchen supplies
  • support team members and communicate effectively
