Job Requirements
- Be at least eighteen years of age
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English
- Maintain active Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience
- Effective communication skills
- Physically active with ability to stand and lift heavy items
- Comfortable with extreme temperature environments
- Available for indoor and outdoor work
- Criminal background cleared
Job Qualifications
- Possess a current Food Handlers Card as per Department of Health
- Demonstrated skills and competency in leadership, training, and supervision
- Proficient written and oral communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop for extended periods
- Capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in extreme temperatures, including near cooking surfaces and freezers
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
- Criminal clearance
Job Duties
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes
- Ensure health protocols, proper hygiene, sanitary food preparation, and food temperatures
- Familiarize with residents and their preferences and needs
- Participate in resident orientations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory and kitchen supplies management
- Support team members in food service operations
