Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
- ability to lift and carry weights up to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- standing and walking for extended periods
- ability to work with kitchen equipment safely
- adherence to company safety standards and procedures
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- must possess or be able to obtain Food Handlers card and OLCC permit
- financial transaction handling experience
- must pass criminal background check
Job Duties
- set up, restock, maintain, and clean food preparation areas
- monitor the quality and consistency of all food served
- prepare food in accordance with working menus and hotel brand specifics
- display knowledge in and follow sanitation and sanitary food handling at all times
- responsible for food quality control and proper plate presentation on all meals
- responsible for food portioning in accordance with hotel brand standards
- report all unsafe conditions immediately
