Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of professional cooking experience or equivalent education
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Must adhere to dress code
- Willingness to work Monday through Friday from approximately 6:30 am to 3:00 pm
- Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak times
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year professional cooking experience or education equivalent
- Basic knowledge of cooking and prep techniques
- Ability to work safely with large-volume culinary equipment including slicer, large mixer, food processors, blenders, and chopper
- Understanding of HACCP guidelines and food safety standards
- Ability to follow workplace safety and sanitation policies
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Wash pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
- Clean and maintain floors
- Assist with general cleaning and sanitation as assigned
- Maintain storage areas and equipment as assigned
- Clock in and out for workday and breaks
- Provide the highest quality of service per Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures following federal, state, and local guidelines
- Execute NetMenu recipe preparation
- Setup pot sink according to HACCP practices
- Sweep and mop floors
- Remove garbage safely
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
- Notify management of ingredient or equipment discrepancies
- Attend all meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
