Job Requirements

  • Food safety certification preferred
  • minimum 1-2 years as a cook in a fast-paced setting
  • ability to lift trays and dishes and occasionally move dining tables and furniture
  • ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
  • punctuality and reliability

Job Duties

  • Prepare and plate food for meals and special events
  • accommodate residents' dietary needs as required
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas
  • adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • collaborate with dietary and kitchen staff to ensure quality and timeliness of meals
  • assist with inventory and food storage management
  • communicate effectively with residents and team members
