Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in large-scale food preparation and serving
- Ability to pass a written test at the eighth-grade level
- Must obtain approved food handler's certificate within seven days after appointment
- Ability to follow sanitation and food safety guidelines
- Willingness to work full-time permanent shifts
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and handle food safely
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare three meals and two snacks daily for residents
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation requirements
- Handle food properly and ensure correct storage following HACCP guidelines
- Prepare and cook large quantities of various foods according to recipes and NSLP menus
- Assist in ordering and receiving food service items
- Maintain daily and weekly logs and participate in inspections and nutrition programs
- Communicate kitchen equipment maintenance needs to supervisor
- Ensure timely delivery of meals to residents
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
