This position is based at the Fort Sill, OK Child Development Center, a facility dedicated to providing high-quality child care and development services. Job Requirements
- Experience demonstrating knowledge of full range of food preparation techniques
- ability to develop and revise standardized recipes
- capacity to coordinate large quantity cooking
- knowledge of special/modified diets

- proficiency with commercial food service tools and sanitation
- basic math skills
- ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing

Job Duties
- Develop and revise standardized recipes
- coordinate cooking in large quantities using complex recipes and varied cooking methods
- prepare foods for special modified diets including diabetic exchanges, low sodium, and food allergies
- instruct lower-level cooks
- use a variety of commercial food service tools and equipment
- maintain cleaning and sanitation practices
- apply basic math skills to modify recipes and determine portion sizes
