Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one-year cooking or baking experience
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Ability to work with equipment generating heat, steam, or cold
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Knowledge of HACCP and food codes
- Strong knife skills
Job Qualifications

- Able to read and write English and follow oral and written directions
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of HACCP and food safety codes
- Demonstrates appropriate knife skills
- Experience cooking from scratch or a la carte restaurant preferred
Job Duties
- Cooks and seasons food following established recipes
- Prepares and stores food according to HACCP principles and food codes
- Manages position paperwork including recipes and forecasting
- Follows hand hygiene procedures diligently
- Uses and cleans kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Date-marks and monitors food items for safety and freshness
- Prepares, assembles, serves, or bakes food and beverages meeting timely service deadlines
