Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in culinary food preparation or cooking preferred
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written food recipes and production orders
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees and catering items as directed by the Chef Manager
  • Set up station prior to service with necessary equipment and food
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous customer service at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Adhere to client and company protocols related to workplace safety and sanitation
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
