Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during day hours
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs to waist height
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Completion of food safety training preferred
- Adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and maintain kitchen cleanliness

Job Qualifications

- Previous cooking experience in a commercial or corporate dining setting advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Produce, prepare, cook, and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as assigned by the supervisor
- Observe and follow all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques, and food presentation
- Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
- Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and store deliveries
- Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Provide excellent customer service and communication
- Follow health and safety regulations and personal hygiene standards
- Move objects up to approximately 35 lbs to waist height
- Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
- Work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
- Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
- Stand for extended periods
