Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday during day hours
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs to waist height
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Completion of food safety training preferred
  • Adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Ability to work independently and maintain kitchen cleanliness
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliable and punctual

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous cooking experience in a commercial or corporate dining setting advantageous
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare, cook, and serve foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as assigned by the supervisor
  • Observe and follow all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques, and food presentation
  • Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and store deliveries
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication
  • Follow health and safety regulations and personal hygiene standards
  • Move objects up to approximately 35 lbs to waist height
  • Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards
  • Work independently and clean and sanitize the kitchen
  • Perform other jobs as assigned by the supervisor
  • Stand for extended periods
