Job Requirements

  • Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes and instructions
  • Ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift objects up to 35 lbs to waist height

  • Ability to receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and stow deliveries

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a cooking or food preparation role preferred
  • Ability to comprehend verbal and written food recipes and production orders
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food handling and kitchen safety
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and serve various food items including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering dishes
  • Set up stations prior to service with appropriate equipment and food
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous customer service at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and stow deliveries
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production and recipe methods
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor
