Job Requirements

  • Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes, production orders, cooking instructions and techniques
  • Follow health and safety regulations related to equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to move objects weighing approximately 35 lbs to waist height
  • Adherence to COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to receive, unpack, date, rotate and store deliveries
  • Willingness to perform additional tasks as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cooking experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment preferred
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Customer service experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Produce, prepare and cook foods including soups, sauces, salads, entrees, catering and other items as directed by Chef Manager
  • Set up station prior to service with appropriate equipment and foods as instructed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with health, safety and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous customer service at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate and stow deliveries
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions related to menu production, recipe methods, cooking techniques and food presentation
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
