Job Requirements

  • Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes and production orders
  • Follow all health and safety regulations regarding equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects approximately 35 lbs to waist height
  • Adhere to client and company COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
  • Maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude
  • Ability to receive and properly handle deliveries
  • Flexibility to perform other jobs as requested by supervisor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in food preparation and cooking preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and kitchen instructions
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 35 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as directed by the Chef Manager
  • Set up work stations with appropriate equipment and food prior to service
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous customer service at all times
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and stow food deliveries
  • Follow all verbal and written instructions related to menu production and cooking techniques
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor
