Job Requirements

  • Comprehension of verbal and written food recipes and cooking instructions
  • Follow all health and safety regulations including equipment use and personal hygiene
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 lbs to waist height
  • Adherence to client and company COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to receive and handle deliveries
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required by supervisor

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
  • Ability to follow detailed recipes and instructions accurately
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook and serve soups, sauces, salads, entrees, and catering items as directed by the Chef Manager
  • Set up work stations with appropriate equipment and food prior to service
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area following health, safety, and food handling regulations
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service at all times
  • Observe all verbal and written instructions regarding menu production, recipes, cooking techniques, and food presentation
  • Receive, unpack, unwrap, date, rotate, and stow deliveries
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
