Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One to three years of related experience in healthcare, banquet, catering services, restaurant, or corporate setting
  • Ability to read, speak and follow oral and written instructions in English

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate from a formal technical school specializing in high-volume cooking or has equivalent culinary experience
  • Experience in the preparation of high-quality hot and cold food
  • Ability to read, speak, and follow oral and written instructions in English
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong attention to detail in food preparation and presentation

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals for patients, employees, and visitors in accordance with established food preparation procedures
  • Operate new and innovative food stations such as paninis and breakfast offerings
  • Prep, cook, and plate food items while following regulatory and food safety guidelines
  • Perform batch cooking by following recipes and specifications using correct methods and equipment
  • Monitor temperature of all cold and hot foods for quality assurance
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient food production
