  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in food services as a Cook
  • Reliable transportation
  • Food handlers certificate preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days

  • Experience in food services serving as a Cook
  • Food handlers certificate preferred or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • Must have a can-do attitude
  • Ability to serve guests needs with a high sense of urgency
  • Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with the public
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions
  • Ability to prepare/serve food and drinks following Health Department Standards
  • Ability and flexibility in working varied shifts
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team
  • Must have good written and verbal skills
  • Must have good critical thinking and problem solving skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold
  • Operates kitchen equipment including oven, pizza oven, warmers, coffee/tea brewers, microwave, ice maker, etc
  • Prepares, cuts, cleans food to be cooked
  • Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions
  • Verifies the quality and quantity of all orders
  • Supports dietary restrictions, allergies, and special needs of guests
  • Restocks products in the concessions area and performs food preparation
