- Ability to serve guests needs with a high sense of urgency
- Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with the public
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to prepare/serve food and drinks following Health Department Standards
- Ability and flexibility in working varied shifts
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and work well independently and on a team
- Good written and verbal skills
- Good critical thinking and problem solving skills
Job Duties
- Prepares batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold
- Operates kitchen equipment including but not limited to oven, pizza oven, warmers, coffee/tea brewers, microwave, ice maker
- Prepares, cuts, cleans food to be cooked
- Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions
- verifies the quality and quantity of all orders
- Supports dietary restrictions, allergies, and special needs of guests
- Restocks product in concessions area and performs food preparation
- Multitasks by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with customer instructions
- Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils according to health department standards
- Responsible for providing and maintaining excellent customer service while performing all duties
- Performs all responsibilities of Sports Events Aide as needed
- Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others
- Protects confidentiality of information or material obtained in the service with the organization
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy
- Takes a solution-oriented approach in interactions and undertakings and promotes collaboration and commitment to the organization’s Mission and Vision
- Performs other duties as assigned
