  • Basic understanding of or ability to learn food-handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with the public
  • Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to prepare/serve food and drinks following Health Department Standards
  • Ability and flexibility in working varied shifts
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, and work well independently and on a team
  • Good written and verbal skills
  • Good critical thinking and problem solving skills

Job Duties

  • Prepares batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold
  • Operates kitchen equipment including but not limited to oven, pizza oven, warmers, coffee/tea brewers, microwave, ice maker
  • Prepares, cuts, cleans food to be cooked
  • Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions
  • verifies the quality and quantity of all orders
  • Supports dietary restrictions, allergies, and special needs of guests
  • Restocks product in concessions area and performs food preparation
  • Multitasks by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared in accordance with customer instructions
  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils according to health department standards
  • Responsible for providing and maintaining excellent customer service while performing all duties
  • Performs all responsibilities of Sports Events Aide as needed
  • Adheres to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and takes precautionary measures to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others
  • Protects confidentiality of information or material obtained in the service with the organization
  • Adheres to the Code of Conduct and the Faith and Moral Policy
  • Takes a solution-oriented approach in interactions and undertakings and promotes collaboration and commitment to the organization’s Mission and Vision
  • Performs other duties as assigned
